Conflict Resolution

For 30 years Egypt and Israel were arch enemies. Then they found a solution to their conflict at Camp David, which landed them the Nobel Peace Prize. For about as long time Northern Ireland experienced a cruel and devastating civil war. Then they managed to reconcile to the degree that they were able even to sit in the same government.

In international relations, in a workplace or within a family, there will inevitably be conflicts. What is the key to resolving such conflicts? How can you solve a conflict that has gone that far? Or more importantly – how can you solve a conflict before it goes that far?
